Barry is leaving the team today. He is the 4th person who decided to leave this "Hell" DBA team since I joined in June 2010. First was CK, followed by Mu, then Vie Nie and now Barry. Looking at the bright side, DBA is a high demand and high pay position in job market, down side is I'm losing the last experienced person who I can ask for help when there is a production issue. Sometimes, I'm wondering if this is the right job for me, who has never tried to read any article on latest infrastructure technologies, who has never browse any forum where all experts over the world sharing their knowledge and skills, but I find myself addicted to this Not-too-Free working life I'm having now.
